ABOUT THE PROCESSING

The anaerobic natural processing method imparts notes reminiscent of cider, white grapes, and caramel sweetness, creating a complex and multi-layered brew. What is the secret? During anaerobic natural processing, the cherries are fermented in sealed barrels for approximately 72 hours. Then, they are dried together with the pulp surrounding the bean, which allows it to absorb a deep, slightly boozy acidity and complex sweetness. One sip and you will see why Burundi is taking the coffee scene by storm!

RECIPE

Place the opened drip bag on a mug and pour water into it two or three times (ideally about 180-200 ml). I recommend brewing in slightly taller mugs so that the drip bag does not touch the coffee that has already been brewed.
