What is the steam wand hose

The steam wand hose is a connecting part that carries steam from the coffee machine's internal circuit to the steam nozzle or milk frother. It transfers hot steam under pressure, so it must always be tight and resistant to high temperatures.

Signs of wear

With age or exposure to heat, the hose can lose flexibility, crack or become soft. This shows up as steam or water leaking outside the nozzle, a weak or irregular steam flow, hissing near the connection, or water dripping from the machine while frothing milk.
