What is the valve hose

The valve hose connects the valve to the other parts of the coffee machine's water or steam circuit. Its job is to carry water or pressurised steam exactly where it needs to go and keep the system sealed throughout the whole brewing cycle.

How to spot wear

Over time the hose material loses its flexibility, can crack or come loose from the joint. This shows up as water or steam leaking inside the machine, dripping under the coffee machine, a drop in pressure, incomplete flow or a valve error message. In some cases you may also notice hissing or bubbling caused by the leak.

Why you shouldn't put off the replacement

A leaking or damaged hose reduces the pressure needed for proper coffee preparation and can allow water to get into the electronics or other parts of the machine. Timely replacement prevents further damage to surrounding components and restores reliable valve function.

How to choose the right hose

• Check compatibility in the product table according to your coffee machine model.
• Make sure it is a hose for the same type of valve (safety, solenoid, pressure).
• During installation, make sure both ends are properly secured so the joint stays sealed.
