What is a pressure hose and what it is used for

The pressure hose carries water or steam between individual parts of the coffee machine, for example between the boiler, the pump and the brewing unit. It must withstand high pressure and temperature, so it is designed to remain tight and flexible over the long term despite repeated heating and cooling.

Signs of wear

As the material ages, it loses flexibility and may crack or tear at the ends. This shows up as water or steam leaking from the coffee machine, a drop in pressure during brewing, a burnt smell, or visible moisture inside the appliance. In some cases, an error message related to pressure or water flow may also appear.
