What is a milk frothing nozzle
The nozzle is the end part of the coffee machine's milk system, through which steam or a mixture of steam and milk flows into the container. Its shape and openings determine what kind of foam the coffee machine produces and whether the milk is sufficiently aerated and smooth.
How to spot wear
- The foam is thin, unstable or doesn't form at all
- Milk sprays to the sides or the nozzle drips
- Dried milk accumulates in the openings, causing an unpleasant smell
- The flow is uneven, or the coffee machine reports a milk system error
When it's time for a replacement
A clogged or damaged nozzle not only affects foam quality but, if neglected for a long time, can also cause deposits throughout the entire milk circuit, which are harder to clean. Replacing it with a new nozzle restores the original frothing performance without needing to intervene in other parts of the system.
How to choose the right nozzle
Before ordering, check compatibility with your coffee machine model in the product table, as the shape and mounting of the nozzle differ between machines.
