What is a control button seal

The control button seal is a small rubber or silicone element located under the button or under the entire button panel on the coffee machine's control panel. Its role is to protect the electronics and switches from moisture, coffee dust, and dirt that get into the space under the control panel during normal use.

How to spot wear

When the seal hardens, cracks, or deforms, the button may respond unreliably, stick, or switch on its own. Moisture can get inside the panel, which over time leads to damage to the electronics, corrosion of contacts, or complete failure of the button function.

Why replace this part in time
