What is a three-way solenoid valve

The three-way solenoid valve controls the direction of water and pressure in the coffee machine's circuit. Depending on whether it is energized or not, it lets water flow to the brewing unit, or releases the residual pressure from the circuit after coffee preparation. Thanks to it, the brew head is safely depressurized after extraction and the mechanism can be opened comfortably.
