What is a valve connector

A valve connector is a fitting that connects the valve (safety, solenoid, or ceramic) to the hose, pipe, or body of the coffee machine. It ensures a tight and stable connection through which water, steam, or air flows, and its job is to keep the system pressurized without leaks.

When the part stops doing its job

When the connector or its seal loses flexibility or cracks, it shows up as water or steam leaking around the valve, dripping, hissing, a drop in pressure, or the coffee machine failing to reach the correct temperature or pressure needed for brewing. Sometimes an error message related to pressure or heating may also appear.

When it's time for a replacement

A leaking connector puts strain on surrounding parts, increases energy consumption, and can lead to a bigger failure of the entire valve or boiler. Timely replacement is a simpler and cheaper fix than repairing more extensive damage later.
