What the brewing unit connector does

The connector is a linking element within the brewing unit that ensures the connection between its individual parts – whether it's the water supply or the transfer of motion from the drive to the unit's mechanism. Thanks to it, the individual components work together as a whole, allowing the brewing unit to reliably perform its role in coffee preparation.

When the part stops doing its job

A worn or damaged connector shows up as a loose or imperfect connection. In water supply connectors this can mean water leakage or insufficient pressure, while in motion transfer connectors it can mean unusual noise, clicking, or the brewing unit not moving smoothly or at all. The coffee machine may display an error related to the brewing unit or stop brewing coffee altogether.

Why you shouldn't put off the replacement

A damaged connector puts extra strain on surrounding parts and can cause further faults in the brewing unit or water leaking into the coffee machine's interior. Timely replacement prevents bigger repairs and restores reliable coffee brewing performance.
