What is the coffee grounds container

The coffee grounds container collects the used coffee puck that drops out of the brewing unit after water has passed through it. It prevents coffee residue from getting inside the machine or spilling outside, and allows for easy emptying once full.

When the part stops doing its job

If the container is cracked, deformed, or leaking, moisture and coffee residue may appear around the outlet, or the coffee machine may report the container as full sooner than it actually is.
