What is a thermoblock or boiler cover

A thermoblock or boiler cover is a protective and insulating part that covers the heating element inside the coffee machine. It protects other components from direct heat and possible contact with hot parts, while also keeping the heat where it is needed for proper water heating.

When the part stops doing its job

A damaged, cracked, or deformed cover loses its insulating and protective function. This can show up as increased heat around the boiler, slower or uneven water heating, or loose mounts that cause the cover to no longer sit firmly in place or to produce unusual noises during operation.

When it's time for a replacement

A faulty or missing cover increases the risk of burns when handling the inside of the coffee machine and can accelerate wear of nearby plastic or electronic parts due to unprotected heat. Timely replacement helps avoid more extensive intervention inside the device.
