What is a steam heating element

The steam heating element is a component that heats water to the temperature needed to produce steam. In a coffee machine, steam is used to froth milk or, in some functions, to superheat water. The element is usually part of a separate steam circuit, isolated from the coffee brewing circuit.

When the part stops doing its job
