What is the electronics or display cover

This is an external protective part that covers the electronic components, display or control panel of the coffee machine. It protects sensitive components from moisture, dust, heat and mechanical damage, while also holding together the appearance of the control section of the machine.

Signs of wear or damage

A cracked, loose or deformed cover shows up as visibly loosened joints, moisture getting into the electronics, a flickering or unresponsive display, or a non-functioning indicator light. A damaged cover can also allow water vapour or dirt inside, which over time can damage the control electronics.
