What is the brewing unit body

The brewing unit body is the supporting part on which the other components needed for coffee preparation are mounted - the shower disc, seal, piston or valves. Hot water flows through this housing under pressure, and it is where the actual coffee extraction process takes place.

Typical signs of wear

Cracks, deformations or a damaged thread cause water to leak outside the brew head, uneven pressure during extraction and inconsistent coffee taste. Dripping after brewing, difficulty sealing the portafilter or noise when engaging the lever may also occur.
