What the solenoid valve does

The solenoid valve controls the flow of water, milk or steam in the coffee machine. Based on an electrical signal from the control unit, it opens and closes, starting or interrupting the flow at a precisely defined moment during brewing.

How to spot wear

A worn or damaged valve shows itself through irregular water or steam flow, dripping even outside of brewing, loud clicking, or complete failure of function. An error message may also appear on the coffee machine's display, or the coffee's taste may become inconsistent due to incorrect water dosing.

Why you shouldn't put off the replacement

A leaking or stuck valve puts strain on other components of the system, can cause water to leak inside the appliance, and may lead to a bigger failure. Timely replacement restores precise flow control and stable beverage preparation.
