What the thermoblock temperature sensor does

The temperature sensor (NTC sensor) measures the water temperature in the thermoblock and sends this information to the coffee machine's control electronics. Based on this data, the machine regulates heating and keeps the water at the temperature needed for brewing coffee or producing steam.

Signs of wear or failure

• The coffee is too cold or, conversely, overheated and tastes burnt
• The coffee machine won't start or switches off during heating
• The display shows an error message related to temperature or heating
• Brewing coffee takes noticeably longer than usual
