What is the milk frother insert

The insert is the inner part of the frothing nozzle or milk container that draws in air and milk and turns them into foam for cappuccino or latte. It contains small channels, a valve, or openings through which milk and air flow in a precise ratio.

When the part stops doing its job

When the insert is clogged with dried milk or worn out, the foam is thin, uneven, or missing entirely. You may also notice uneven milk spurting, increased noise during frothing, or milk leaking outside the nozzle.

Why you shouldn't put off the replacement

A damaged or dirty insert is difficult to clean thoroughly and gradually loses its ability to properly mix air with milk. Replacing it restores foam quality and prevents bacteria from building up in hard-to-reach places.
