What the pressure gauge does

The pressure gauge shows the current pressure in the boiler or pump of the coffee machine. Thanks to it, you know whether the machine is operating within the correct range needed for quality coffee extraction and safe boiler operation.

Signs of wear or malfunction

A faulty or leaking pressure gauge shows itself through an inaccurate or unmoving reading, a stuck needle, condensation or a cracked glass, or by water or steam leaking at its connection point. Sometimes the indicator stays permanently at zero or, conversely, at maximum, regardless of the machine's actual state.

Why you shouldn't put off the replacement

Without a reliable pressure reading, you have no control over whether the boiler or pump is being overloaded, which can lead to poorer coffee quality, noisy operation, or damage to other components. Timely replacement of the pressure gauge restores accurate pressure monitoring and reduces the risk of subsequent faults.
