What is a water distributor in a coffee machine

A distributor or hose splitter routes water from a single source (such as a pump or solenoid valve) into several circuits of the coffee machine. It ensures that water reaches exactly where it should – the brewing unit, heater or dispensing spout – without leaking or mixing between circuits.

When the part stops doing its job

A worn or cracked distributor shows itself through dripping or leaking water at the hose connections, a drop in water pressure, uneven flow to individual circuits, or a complete loss of function in one of them. It can also cause the coffee machine to report a flow or pressure error, even though the other components are fine.

Why you shouldn't put off the replacement
