What the hose does

The boiler or thermoblock hose connects the heating element to the pump, valve or other part of the coffee machine's hydraulic circuit. Water or steam under pressure and heat flows through it, so it must withstand repeated temperature and pressure stress without losing its seal.

• Water or steam leaking around the thermoblock or boiler

• Cracks, softening or hardening of the hose material
