Heating element with pressure cylinder

This is a combined part of the brewing unit that heats the water to the required temperature and, in the pressure cylinder, creates and maintains the pressure needed for water to flow through the coffee puck. This assembly is the heart of the entire espresso brewing process inside the machine.

How to spot wear

A worn or damaged heating element shows itself through uneven heating of water, fluctuating or completely lost pressure, water leaking from the pressure cylinder, longer brewing times, or error messages related to heating or pressure. The result is weak, watery or cold coffee, and in worse cases, visible leaking under the machine.

When it's time for a replacement

A damaged heating element or cylinder can cause further problems in the brewing unit, put extra strain on other components and shorten the lifespan of the whole coffee machine. Timely replacement restores stable pressure and correct temperature, bringing back the quality of the brewed coffee.
