What is the milk frother housing

The milk frother housing is a plastic or metal holder into which the outlet nozzle or the entire milk frothing system on the coffee machine is fitted. It holds the frother in the correct position, ensures a firm connection to the coffee machine body, and allows the milk supply as well as steam or air needed for foam creation to be connected.

Typical signs of wear

When the housing loses its strength or cracks, the frother moves loosely within it, leaks, or falls out of its mount entirely. This results in escaping steam or milk, weak or unstable foam, dripping around the outlet, and sometimes an error message from the coffee machine, since the system cannot recognize a properly attached attachment.
