What the cooling fan does

The cooling fan ensures air flow around the electronics, motors and other heat-stressed parts of the coffee machine. It dissipates the heat generated during normal operation, protecting sensitive components from overheating.

Signs of wear

A worn or damaged fan most often shows itself through increased noise, vibrations, or conversely complete silence when the blades stop turning. The coffee machine may start overheating, leading to failures, error messages, or automatic shutdown triggered by overheat protection.

When it's time for a replacement

Faulty cooling increases the risk of damage to surrounding parts, shortens the lifespan of the electronics, and can cause unexpected interruptions in operation. Timely replacement of the fan prevents more serious and costly failures.
