What is a drip tray

The drip tray is part of the coffee machine's drainage system. It catches excess water, coffee grounds, or milk residue that overflows or spills outside the cup during preparation, and directs them away from the machine's working area or into the collection grid or wastewater tank.

How to spot wear

Over time, the tray can become clogged with deposits, crack, or lose its seal at the point where it connects to hoses or connectors.
