What is the drip tray grid

The grid is the top, removable part of the coffee machine's drip tray. It holds cups or catches drips during coffee preparation while letting spilled water, milk or coffee residue pass through into the tray below, keeping the work surface dry and clean.

Typical signs of wear

Over time, the grid can become deformed, cracked or corroded, causing it to no longer hold cups steadily and creating gaps through which liquid runs off outside the tray. A damaged surface is also harder to clean and may trap dirt or develop odours.
