What is a valve seal holder

The valve seal holder is a component that fixes the seal in place within the valve or tap of a coffee machine, ensuring the seal fits tightly and properly performs its function in regulating the flow of water or steam.

Signs of wear

When the holder is worn, deformed, or damaged, the seal no longer stays firmly in place and loses its sealing function. This shows up as water or steam leaking around the valve, dripping, uneven pressure during coffee preparation or milk frothing, and sometimes an audible hissing sound.

When it's time for a replacement
