What is a filter coffee system

This is a pour-over coffee brewing device, consisting of a container for the finished coffee and a paper or cloth filter through which water slowly passes through ground coffee. The result is a clean, smooth drink without sediment, something classic drip machines or pressure coffee makers cannot achieve.

What to watch out for

The quality of preparation depends on the condition and cleanliness of the system itself. Residue from old coffee or a scratched surface can affect the taste of the drink, while a cracked or chipped container is a safety risk and may cause hot water to leak outside the filter.
