How to Pack a Parcel for Service

Correct packaging protects the coffee machine from impacts, pressure and movement during transport to the service centre.

Recommended packaging

• Use a sturdy corrugated-cardboard box in good condition.
• Drain the water, empty the bean container and secure or pack removable parts separately.
• Wrap the appliance in protective material and fill every empty space so that it cannot move.
• Seal all seams with strong tape using the H-taping method and place one clear address label on the parcel.

Shipping limits

Maximum weight: 50 kg. The combined dimensions must satisfy 2 × width + 2 × height + length < 3 m; maximum dimensions are 80 × 60 × 200 cm.
