What is the steam pipe and what it is used for

The steam pipe carries hot steam from the coffee machine to the milk frother. It is the connecting element between the body of the machine and the nozzle, through which the steam needed to prepare frothed milk for cappuccino or latte passes.

Signs of wear

When the pipe is clogged with dried milk, blocked or cracked, steam escapes outside the nozzle, pressure drops, and the milk froths unevenly or not at all. You may notice hissing, water dripping near the pipe, or a complete loss of frother function.

Why you shouldn't put off the replacement

A damaged or heavily clogged pipe reduces foam quality and can overload the machine's steam system. Timely replacement prevents further sealing issues and keeps frothing performance stable.
