What a protective cover is and what it is for

A protective cover is an external or internal part that covers sensitive parts of the coffee machine, most often the grinder or a mechanism inside the appliance. Its job is to protect these parts from dust, coffee residue, moisture and mechanical damage, while also preventing accidental contact with moving or electrical parts during operation.

Signs of wear or damage
