LED cup lighting for Jura S series coffee machines

What the cup LED lighting does

This is a small lighting module located in the cup area or in the ground coffee cover. Its purpose is to illuminate the beverage dispensing area so you can see the amount and colour of the coffee during preparation, or to signal the device's status.

Signs of wear or malfunction

If the diode or its wiring is failing, the light may flicker, shine only weakly, change colour unevenly, or go out completely. Sometimes the fault also shows up as an error message on the coffee machine's display, if the lighting is part of the controlled electronics.

When it's time for a replacement

Non-functioning lighting does not directly affect the taste of the coffee, but it makes it harder to monitor preparation and may indicate a wiring problem that could later affect other functions of the machine. Timely replacement prevents more extensive intervention in the electronics.
