What is a cappuccino maker and what is it for

The cappuccino maker is a complete milk frother unit that draws in milk and, using steam or air pressure, turns it into fine foam for cappuccino, latte or frothed milk for other drinks. It is an assembly containing a nozzle, a suction tube and a mechanism that mixes milk with air and steam.

How to spot wear

A worn or dirty cappuccino maker shows itself through thin or uneven foam, insufficiently heated frothed milk, milk dripping or spraying outside the cup, or a complete failure to froth. Dried milk deposits inside the internal channels are also common, causing clogging and affecting the taste of the drink.

Why you shouldn't put off the replacement
