This coffee lot can be seen as a testament to the enduring partnership between Caffenation and Juan, as we have BOMBA DE FRUTA available for the 7th time in 8 years.

Producing natural coffees like this one comes with its challenges, especially for local producers. Unlike washed coffee, which can be sold to the National Federation of Coffee Growers (FNC), natural coffees often can’t find a market locally. This creates a dilemma for producers, who must navigate the risks and uncertainties associated with this method of production.

However, despite the challenges, Juan continues to produce exceptional natural coffees year after year. The quality of his coffee is so outstanding that we gladly pay a premium well above the FNC or Fairtrade prices.
