What is a nozzle and what is it for

The nozzle is the end part through which the coffee machine dispenses frothed milk or the prepared beverage into the cup. It directs the flow of liquid or steam and affects the structure of the foam, as well as how precisely the finished beverage flows out from the head of the machine.

Signs of wear

A worn or dirty nozzle is manifested by an uneven or spattering flow, weaker or poor-quality foam, dripping after dispensing has finished, or a change in sound during frothing. Over time, the material may also crack, or the internal openings may become clogged with milk residue or limescale.

Why you shouldn't put off the replacement

A damaged nozzle affects the quality of beverage preparation and can cause liquid to leak outside the cup, which also puts strain on other parts of the coffee machine. Timely replacement prevents mess around the machine and maintains consistent frothing and dispensing quality.
