Electronic control board

The control or contact board is an electronic unit that processes signals from the sensors and actuators in the coffee machine and controls its basic functions – heating, water flow, pump switching, and communication with the control panel. Without a functioning board, the machine does not respond correctly to commands or does not start the brewing cycles at all.

Signs of wear or failure

A damaged or outdated board shows up as unpredictable behaviour of the coffee machine – switching off on its own, error messages, delayed or missing response to buttons, incorrect temperature maintenance, or the machine not turning on at all. Sometimes it is a loose contact, other times permanent damage to components caused by moisture or a power surge.

Why you shouldn't put off the replacement

A faulty control board can cause uneven heating or uncontrolled pump operation, which affects both the quality of the coffee and the safety of operation. Timely replacement prevents further faults in related components.
