How to pack a package for service

How to properly wrap a package

Customer satisfaction is our common goal. That's why it's important that the parcel is ready for shipment without damage. During the journey, it will pass through roller tracks, automated sorting lines and be transported by courier vehicle.

What products can be transported?

  • Maximum weight: 50 kg
  • Dimensions: 2x width + 2x height + length < 3 m
  • Maximum dimensions:
    • Height: 80 cm
    • Width: 60 cm
    • Length: 200 cm

Transport risks and how to minimise them

1. Car pressure

A package may be subjected to pressure from other packages during transport. Therefore:

  • Use rigid boxes made of three-ply or five-ply cardboard.
  • Wrap fragile items with bubble wrap or foam fillers.

2. Displacements and impacts

The product must not move in the package. Use:

  • foam pads, polystyrene fittings or air cushions.
  • Carton dividers to separate products.

3. Falls

The package may fall from a height. Therefore:

  • Place heavy objects at the bottom of the package.
  • Wrap bottles and containers with absorbent material.

How to pack the product correctly

Wrapping material

Choose sturdy packaging that protects the product. The best ones are:

  • Corrugated cardboard boxes.
  • Plastic and security envelopes for smaller items.

Filling and fixing

Fix the contents of the package with suitable materials such as bubble wrap or polystyrene fillers.

Fix the package

The recommended method of sealing is the so-called double H. Use a good quality adhesive tape at least 5 cm wide.

Package labelling

Place one label with the address in a visible place. For fragile products, use handling labels.
