What is a safety valve cover

The safety valve cover is a protective element that covers the safety valve itself on a coffee machine or boiler. Its role is to protect the valve mechanism from mechanical damage, dust, and accidental contact during operation, when the surrounding surface is hot.

Signs of wear

Over time or due to thermal stress, the cover can weaken, crack, or come loose from its mounting. A loose or damaged cover no longer holds firmly in place, may rattle or vibrate, and stops fulfilling its protective function. In some cases, a damaged cover can come into contact with moving parts of the valve and affect its proper opening.
