What is a milk hose

The milk hose is the connecting element between the milk container and the frothing or dispensing system of the coffee machine. It carries milk from the container to the nozzle, where it is frothed or heated for preparing cappuccino, latte or other milk-based drinks.

When the part stops doing its job

As the material ages, the hose hardens, cracks or becomes deformed. This can result in poor milk frothing, uneven flow, dripping, air being drawn in, or milk leaking outside the system. The inside of the hose can also become clogged with milk residue, affecting both hygiene and the taste of the prepared drink.

Why replace this part in time

A damaged or dirty hose increases the risk of bacteria build-up and odour in the milk system. Timely replacement keeps the milk flow stable, maintains foam quality, and keeps the whole circuit clean, without the need to repair other, more expensive components.
