What is a pump pressure gauge

The pump pressure gauge is a measuring instrument that shows the water pressure generated by the coffee machine's pump. It displays the value directly on a dial with a needle, allowing you to monitor whether the pump is operating within the correct range needed for quality coffee extraction.

Signs of wear or malfunction

When the pressure gauge stops working properly, the needle may get stuck, fluctuate without any apparent reason, show zero even while the pump is running, or water or steam may start leaking around the device.
