What is the valve connection tube

The valve connection tube is a connecting hose that carries water or steam between the valve, pressure switch, tap or boiler in a coffee machine. It ensures that the medium flows exactly where it should, without leaks or loss of pressure.

Typical signs of wear

Over time the tube loses its flexibility, may crack, soften or come loose at the joints. This shows up as water or steam leaks, dripping under the machine, a drop in pressure, hissing when the valve opens, or uneven hot water flow. If the damage is near the pressure switch, error messages or incorrect operation of the machine's automation may also occur.
