Water Level Sight Glass

The sight glass is part of the coffee machine's tank or boiler and is used for visually checking the amount of water. It lets you see when the tank needs refilling, or whether the filling system is working correctly.

Signs of Wear

Over time, the glass can become scaled, yellowed, or develop micro-cracks. The water level then becomes hard to read, or water may start leaking through the damaged seal around the glass. A cloudy or cracked sight glass often leads to the tank being operated without proper monitoring, which can cause the machine to run dry and damage the pump or heating element.

Why Replace It in Time

Replacing it restores accurate water level readings and helps prevent bigger problems caused by a lack of water in the system. It also prevents water from leaking around the coffee machine.
