What is the brewing unit motor

The brewing unit motor drives the movement of the piston and the entire mechanism that presses the ground coffee and forces hot water through it. Without its reliable operation, the brewing unit cannot close properly, compress the coffee, or return to its original position after brewing is complete.

Signs of wear

• The coffee machine reports a brewing unit error or gets stuck during preparation
• An unusual noise, buzzing or clicking comes from inside the appliance
