What is the flow meter hose

The flow meter hose connects the pump and the water flow sensor in the coffee machine's circuit. All the water dosed during preparation into the coffee or into the hot water and steam system passes through it. The flow meter controls precise dosing based on the amount of water that has flowed through, so the connection must be watertight and unobstructed.

Signs of wear

As the material ages, the hose loses flexibility, can crack or come loose from the couplings. Typical symptoms include dripping or leaking water inside the machine, inaccurate amount of coffee or water in the cup, error messages related to flow, or a complete stop of brewing. Sometimes the pump also becomes noisier as it draws in air through a leaky spot.
