What is a solenoid valve connector

The solenoid valve in a coffee machine controls the flow of water or steam, and its coil is operated by an electrical signal from the control electronics. The connector is the link that provides this electrical connection – it delivers voltage to the valve coil and also holds the wiring firmly in place.

Signs of wear or failure

A worn, corroded or loose connector causes unreliable contact. This can show up as the valve not opening or closing reliably, the coffee machine displaying a valve error, brewing being interrupted, or water or steam leaking where the flow should be sealed. Sometimes intermittent clicking of the valve or a complete loss of function may also occur.
