What is an interconnect board

The interconnect board serves as the electronic link between the coffee machine's main control unit and the other modules – the control panel, display, pump, heating element or sensors. It ensures the transfer of signals and power between the individual parts of the device, so without it the components cannot communicate with each other.

Signs of wear or malfunction

• The coffee machine won't turn on or switches off randomly
• The display or control buttons don't respond, or error messages flash
• Some functions (grinding, heating, water pumping) stop working without an obvious cause
• The device reports a fault even though the other parts are fine

Why you shouldn't put off the replacement

A damaged or corroded interconnect board can cause unpredictable behaviour of the whole coffee machine, or damage other electronic components connected to it. Timely replacement prevents a more extensive fault and unnecessary costs for repairing other modules.
