What is a complete grinder
A complete grinder is a whole unit that, in an automatic coffee machine, grinds whole coffee beans to the required fineness just before brewing. It includes the grinding burrs or blades along with their housing, so it is supplied as a complete functional assembly ready to be installed in place of the original worn-out part.
Signs of wear
- Uneven grinding and a change in coffee taste, which may become bitter or watery
- Increased noise or vibration during grinding
- The coffee machine displays a grinder error or grinding stops completely
- Slower grinding or beans getting jammed
Why you shouldn't put off the replacement
A worn or damaged grinder affects extraction quality and can overload the coffee machine's motor as well as other mechanical parts. Replacing the whole unit instead of repairing it ensures reliable and even grinding without the need for complicated adjustment of individual components.
Choosing tip
Since grinders vary in size and mounting between coffee machine models, always check compatibility in the product table before purchasing.
